MISSION
The City of Amarillo Department of Public Health is responsible for promoting health and preventing disease in the citizens of Potter and Randall Counties.  Public Health services include community health assessment, linkage to health services and promotion of policies that encourage the health of the community.

STAFF
Our staff consists of highly skilled professional nurses, HIV Prevention Counselors and public health specialists.  Dr. Roger Smalligan is the Public Health Authority and Medical Director.
